Hello, I'm Tyler Hudson, an aspiring web developer with a passion for learning. With over 5 years of experience in SaaS support & management, I bring a solid foundation of problem-solving and customer-centric focus to my web development efforts.

About me

After graduating with a degree in Marketing from the University of South Carolina I moved to Atlanta, Georgia and spent several years in a startup environment centered in the automotive space. During my time here I met someone who I consider my mentor who really opened my eyes to the enjoyment of programming. It started with a simple shell script to make my life easier and from there I was hooked.

With my newfound passion I enrolled in a 6 month coding bootcamp for full-stack web development. Having earned my certification I continue to study important fundamentals, paradigms, and technologies through online resources & communities like freeCodeCamp and The Odin Project. My core stack is MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. I try to integrate new frameworks and libraries in my work frequently so I have a broader understanding of what is out there to use. I am currently learning the Next.js framework & TypeScript syntax, both which power this particular webpage!

Outside of coding I love spending time with my fiancée and our Husky Luke. I enjoy working with my hands and have an interest in all things automotive. I am currently teaching myself how to play guitar and make an effort to practice every day.
